Blackpool is located in the North of England on the West coast. It dates back to the 14th century when a small settlement was called Blackpool. The name relates to a stream leading from Marton Mere and Narton Moss to the sea. This stream ran through peat lands which discoloured the water and hense the name Black Poole.Today Blackpool is the Uk´s most visited resort. With attractions for the youg and old it has something for everyone.
