Venue Details for Empress Ballroom
The Empress Ballroom is a staggering venue with a barrel vaulted ceiling, sparkling chandeliers and a parquet floored dance floor. It was constructed in 1896 and has not only been used for dancing, it has been used for Party political conferences, pop concerts and exhibitions. It has a capacity of approximately 3000 in either its reception or theatre configurations. It is also linked directly to the Arena plus has modern offices and meeting rooms adjacent to the main Ballroom.
